So, I'm planning to write a story about angels...but way more original than Hush, Hush, etc. So, what are some good titles for that genre? Or what's some advice on picking out a title myself? :)

Amy Thomson I think that the title has to come from within the story, personally I love the moment you're reading and you realise why the book is called what it's called. Such as "Allegiant".
On another note, one word book titles are very popular at the moment so if you wanted to follow the crowd then that would be something to consider.
Is the book going to be written in first person narrative? If yes then is the title going to be too? I.e. "All Our Yesterday's"
I find picking a title the hardest job in the word and that's probably why all my writing is untitled, but what I do advice is for you to not rush into picking. Maybe once you're halfway through writing think again about the title.

Alice (alice20) For the angel story genre, I've seen books titled "Halo", "Unearthly", "Angelfall", "Fallen".

It really depends on the story, like Amy said. My advice to you is just to have a placeholder title for now, and then once your story is complete, you can think back on the title and choose a new one that you think captures the essence of the book.

Sorry I'm late! But I agree with Amy! The title should relate to the book in some way :) You may not get it right away, but you will!
