If sunshine had a personality, that would be Aurora. She’s nothing short of being bright, warm, and simply joyful. During any type of situation, she will always try her best to keep a positive outlook on life. She’s had her hard times, she’s had her moments of being pushed to the very brink of her own emotional stability, but still she would pull herself up and keep moving forward. Most can never understand how she can be so happy, but it comes natural for her. Which isn’t to say this is the only emotion she possesses, oh no. She is human after all. “And on that day, it was as if the world became so much brighter.” This is something Aurora’s mother always said when speaking on the girl’s birth. Born into a family built on old southern money, hard work, and dreams bigger than anyone could imagine one would say Aurora had a rather nice upbringing. Her mother and father had married young, having her older brother when they were only eighteen. Even still, her father went on to college to gain his business agree and later culinary school so he’d be able to take over the family business. Aurora’s mother? Well, if you look through any fashion magazine you’ll be sure to find her name with numerous pictures. Aurora was brought into this life while her parents were at the peak of their careers. She grew up having a close relationship with both her parents and her brother, and several years later when her sister came along she expected the same.

But as the youngest Lewis child continued to grow, it was quiet obvious that she was far different from the rest. She would often lock herself in her room for hours at a time, even refusing to leave when Aurora would offer to take her anywhere she pleased. No one thought much about it; they all felt it was the youngest’s way of finding her way in the world. It wasn’t until they received a call from her school on that life changing day that they began to regret their actions towards her; that they began to question “what if” over and over again

At the age of ten, Phoebe Lewis left this world by her own doing. To say the family was a wreck was clearly an understatement, but it was obvious to all that the tragedy hit Aurora the hardest. As her older sister, she felt it had been her duty to know what was wrong at all times-- and yet she had failed in her own eyes. But for the sake of her family, she put on a glossy smile and tried her best to hold it all together. At the cost of her own self.

Maybe in passing Aurora will mention a little tidbit about her lost sister, but never will she go into detail. Due to the loss, Aurora has a habit of holding onto people a bit too tightly. She never wants to go through the grief of losing another loved one, though she knows no one lives forever. Though she cares for and loves everyone close to her, she also finds it very hard to trust that they won’t leave her in any way. But once again, don’t be surprised if she keeps this to herself. It is simply a part of life that she knows she must endure at one point or another, but does that mean she’ll accept it? Never.

She grew up in New Zealand with her grandma as her parents sent their time traveling the world together. Once she turned 14, he parents brought her down to leave in New York near their main art boutique. Her parents are both painters, and she doesn't get to see them as often as planned because they spend most of their time traveling for inspiration. They drop in from time to time, but it isn't that they don't love her; they do endlessly. It is just that there job forces them to be on the move. James is what most would call an old fashioned gentleman, never one to stir up trouble where it’s not needed. He holds loyalty above anything else; it’s hard to gain his trust, but once it’s earned it’s just as hard to be lost. But don’t try to push him, or anyone he cares about, in any way. James isn’t outwardly angry when pushed passed his limits, but more of a quiet and calculating type of angry. When it comes to women, he treats them with the utmost respect and sees them as more than just bodies to get into bed with like most of the guys his age. Always the protective one, he can come across as a bit overbearing when he wants to make sure a loved one is alright but it’s always with good intentions.

James comes from a family built on old money, several closeted skeletons, and a history wrapped in secrets and lies. As the youngest and only son of his family with a older sister that always seems to find trouble, much of the family responsibility has been put upon his shoulders from a young age. When he was at the right age to begin school, he was quickly enrolled into the most prestigious private school New York had to offer. And he hated it. But with his parents keeping heir ever watchful eyes upon him, James was quick to make friends and adjust to his surroundings. He became one of the most well known in his class (well, among the school really) for his old fashioned ways: the way he talked, the way he dressed, and simply the way he carried himself.

Over the years, James built an image for himself that could almost be compared to those in the movie/musical Grease. He thought himself born in the wrong time, but still he lived a relatively happy life. His home life, however, wasn’t always the very best. The Cartwright adults often fought over the smallest things, many threats of divorce thrown around even though they both loved each other more than anything in this world. It all hit James rather hard-- especially since he didn’t have his sister, who had been shipped away to boarding school at twelve, to be there for him. And at the age of nine is when he met Aurora. They had a friendship that couldn’t really be described in words, and only seemed to grow closer as the years continued on.

Near the end of their sophomore year, when Aurora asked him to do the biggest favour that had ever been asked of him, he quickly agreed. It was a secret between them, more to protect James from Aurora’s older brother than anything, but also to protect their privacy. Not too long after, at the beginning of the summer, James disappeared from NYC with nothing but a note left on Aurora’s doorstep and no word to anyone else. But now that the summer and half the school year is over, James has come back just as mysteriously as he left with no intentions of revealing his whereabouts.

She of course was shocked by the action, and confessed that her feeling for him weren’t strong and that she was only keeping him around because she didn’t want to be alone. Heartbroken, he broke it off and haven’t talked to her since.

Treat others the way you want to be treated, is Sebastien’s life moto. He is the kindest guy you will ever met. He is that kid that growing up always offered to help the teacher no matter how difficult the task was. He adores challenges and loves to rise above others and his expectations of himself. If today he runs 6 kilometers, tomorrow he’ll run for 6 and half kilometers. He is determined and always believes he can accomplish every goal that he sets his mind to. He is also carefree, and very playful. He is careless, and it is a surprise that he has even survived the last 18 years of his life. He skateboards and that pretty much sums up who he is as a person. Extreme, determined, action crazy, and adrenaline junkie. He hates when people tell him that he is wasting his life or ruining his life because of skateboarding, or that it is a childish sports and now its his time to move on. People always assume because he spends his time skateboarding, and has a pile of tattoos he doesn’t have a legit plan for the future but he does. He was to become a lawyer. He believes in justice, and has the determination to work in that kind of field. At the rate his grades are going he has the possibility of getting into Yale’s Law School. People tell him he can’t do it because he has tattoos. He can't have a real job because no one can take him seriously because he has tattoo, because he has a piercings. He doesn’t understand why what someone looks like has anything to do with his profession ability. If he dresses for the part, suit, he take his piercing out, but why are tattoos such a big deal. Why do they scream low life? He may not be the riches apple in the tree, but he sure as hell takes life seriously and all the opportunities that come his way and tries his hardest. Yet, he can’t succeed because he has a little ink on his body? If you want to get on his bad side, just say he can’t do something about because he has tattoos. He is determined to show his unbelievers that he can become a serious lawyer even with tattoos. He doesn’t want to held back from his dreams just because he looks different than the other contenders.



Bash is the life of the party. He loves to have and let loose and have a good time. He enjoys to have balance in his life. Balance between work and play. He believes that too much of either side is not beneficial to anyone. He tells him that balance in his life will keep him happy. He craves happiness, but so how even with his balance he isn’t happy. Having to lose all his belongings at such a young age taught him that nothing stays forever, losing his childhood home, and his lifelong best friend, taught him that everything fades when the time comes. Nothing stays forever, nothing. He believes that he can’t get attached to anything or now even anyone because in a blink of an eye it will all be gone, and ripped away from him. He isn’t ready to pick up the pieces of himself again. He was hard enough as a young child to tell yourself you no longer have you memories of the past, and then recovering from the biggest and preferable only heartbreak in his life. When he pictures the future he sees himself as a well known lawyer, with his lovable wife at his side and his beautiful children. He believes that love exists but at the moment believes that it will never come his way. He is on the search for total internal happiness but yet believes he will never achieve it.

Sebastien family was, and still is, middle class. Through when he was growing up they were more on the lower end. His family owned a small little house in the Bronx. It wasn’t the best neighbourhood, but it wasn’t the worst either. He lived his mother and father, him being the only child of course. Growing up, his parents fought a lot. Considering that his mother had him when he was eighteen, and his father wasn’t much older, they weren’t ready for the responsibility. They barely had enough money to feed themselves. When he was about 7, his family’s house got burned down because of some drunk teenagers in the neighbourhood. They were desperate, and in need of some money once his father, Drew, had become unemployed and they were on the hunt for a new home, and he turned towards selling drugs. The idea was that he would continue it till they got back onto their feet, but that didn’t occur. Bash’s grades were through the roof, they public school system was convinced that he was a genius and that he needed a better education.

He got accept for a scholarship at St. Constances Private School. Going to school with a bunch of rich kids wasn’t his dream, but if he finally got challenged at a different school it was worth it. Of course, he had no friends there, considering that Alison stayed at his old school. He stuck out like a sore thumb, from his clothes, to they way he talked. He was looked down upon by his richer classmates, and he decided it was better if he just stay invisible. Eventually, people forgot that he was even apart of the school, and they never invited him to anyway of the dumb rich galas or events, not that he would go anyways. He was about 14, when his father got caught selling drugs and he was through into prison. He hasn’t visited his father, and his mother doesn’t talk about him, it was almost as if he never existed, but late at night if he listened closely enough he could hear his mother crying. He was later sentenced to life in prison and after that his mother completely erased him from their lives. Photos, everything, hidden. He knows that she visits him, but she doesn’t want him to come. Bash is unsure whether, his father doesn’t want to be remembered that way or his mother doesn’t want to see her father that way. Either way, he is topic he isn’t allowed to bring up. He just wanted his son to have enough money to get into a good university or college. He wanted his son to have a brighter future than him, to be able to provide for his kids. Now, his in prison and will rot there for the rest of his life because once again they don't have the money to get him out. The world revolves around money and his family wasn't blessed with it.

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Alison is a Queen Bee type of girl. She likes having people do as she says when she says. She can come across as a bit of bitch and most of the time she is especially to those she doesn't like. She is loyal to her friends of which she doesn't really have many- she has followers not friends. She is a spoilt princess through and through, what she wants she gets and she doesn't know any different. She is never really kind to anybody she just looks down on those who are poor. She has a soft spot for cute little animals in distress. Alison is a romantic and wishes for true love and she has never had a casual fling. Alison can be a bit of a wild child at time and is often found at parties but she has a sensible head on her shoulders and often is reining in her wilder friends.

Birth
On October the 11th, a miracle was taking place. It was the birth of the Mason's second child Alison. She was a small baby weighing less than six pounds but she was healthy which was the main thing. Unlike most children she was born at home and not a hospital but that wasn't becuase her parents couldn't afford the hospitals fee's oh no it was quite the opposite . It was becuase the family could hire a private midwife who was much better than the ones working in the hospitals with all the common folk.
