Reached (Matched, #3) Reached question

Allie Condie & Matched Series

honestly, i think that the decision for the path of the story was the right one for things to play out as they needed to. i think too that we have come to expect that the lead female doesn't end up with the 'safe' guy - the one that she's known her whole life and even had some type of past with. that's the case with Hunger Games, The Selection - so many others. i think that Ky was the right one for her because he made her question things and sometimes that's necessary.

as for the series itself, i really enjoyed book 1 - i think that it set up the series really well, but the first time that i read book 2, i didn't enjoy it as much. it took a re-reading before Reached came out to enjoy it for what it was and then the finale was as action packed as we needed it.

There's something to be said about an author who has an imagination that brings together a lot of story lines and keeps you guessing about a few things and i think that's something that Allie Condie was successful at.

Yeah I think the orginal direction the book was headed, chnaged in the last two

I loved the Matched series. The first book was great, the second book(Crossed) was amazing too. But the book sort of goes slowly and gets dull in Reached, that you end up skipping huge paragraphs of pages. I for one skipped at least a few chapters were then it got interesting in the middle. I LOVED Ky's and Cassia's relationship but all you ever get is a small kiss or hand holding. It's like a relationship for comfort only. I think i liked Xander more. I was happy with the ending. NO complaints for that at all. :)

I loved Reached more than other two books of this triology and I think her decision was right. Why should girl go after the perfect match always? can't people be happier for her if she picks someone with flaws too?
