Be sure you keep a record of the ratings info and the date you got it, so you can include it in your post if the ratings change.

just checking - we don't need to get the ratings confirmed (or "locked-in") with you, just as long as we make a note of the date we got the ratings, right?

exactly. Just make a note, and if the ratings don't work any more when you post, just note it in your post.

Book 1: Chasing Sorcery. I am reading the ebook; the paperback Woven with a Silent Motto has 512 pages, rating 4.71 (only seven people have rated this, but I didn't see anything in the task about a minimum number of ratings)
Book 2: The Devil's Seal: A Mystery of Ancient Ireland has 352 pages, rating 3.90
I was planning to read the second one as my last book of the Summer Challenge but ran out of time.

On one of my books for your task, I did the audio and the paperback versions listed have a publication date of NOV 2015, so it is in the future. Do I still supply that link or do I use the hardcover?

Use the paperback version if it's on GR.

I got an ARC and so far I'm the only one who has rated/reviewed it

I already posted this task, but I'm moving books around so I wanted to see if it would be suitable for this task or not.
Thanks!

no, there need to be ratings to fulfill the task requirements.

On a recent trip, I toured Wrigley Field in Chicago, and very much enjoyed hearing the stories the guide told. One particularly good story involved the outfield - when the park was built, there was no outfield wall. So, to determine home runs, there was simply a rope stretched across the outfield - a ball hit over the rope was a homerun; a ball hit under the rope was a ground rule double.
The rope was held by volunteers from among the Cubs fans - so you can guess what happened! When the visitors were up to bat, the rope was as far back as possible, and held as high as possible. When the Cubs came up to bat, the rope moved in (sometimes as much as 5 feet!) and was held as low as possible. And, it took TEN YEARS of complaining by other teams before the Cubs were told to build a non-moving outfield wall or fence!
For this task, we'll move the rope in and down for the home team.
No books with the main page genre childrens or kids may be used for this task. Your two books combined must have a total of at least 500 pages.
Book 1 - The Visitors are up to bat. Read a book of your choice.
Book 2 - Now the home team is up. Read a second book that has fewer pages than book 1 (moving the rope closer in), and that has a lower average rating than book 1 (lowering the rope). To mark 10 years of up to a 5 foot advantage, the second book must have at least 50 fewer pages than book 1 and an average rating at least.50 lower.
NOTE: ebooks without a print edition cannot be used for tasks requiring a specific number of pages. If you read an ebook, listen to an audiobook or read a Large Print edition use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.
REQUIRED: Include in your post the number of pages and average rating for each book. Since ratings can change during the course of the challenge, make a note of the ratings you found and the dates you found them, in case they change.
Posting Example:
Book 1 - Americanah- 477 pages, 4.18 average rating.
Book 2 - At Night We Walk in Circles - 384 pages, 3.61 average rating.
Total pages - 861
Difference in pages - 93
Difference in ratings - .57
