Hi, I just wanted to let you know that this book, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... , has an incorrect author. It should be "Pieter Kuhn", like most other books you find with https://www.goodreads.com/search?utf8... . It is part 26 in the series (which consists of republications of the original stories with 2-3 stories per volume, btw).

Hi, I've got a new book out that I'd like adding to my author page - 1497495873 Legacy of the Abandoned One, which is part 4 of The Glass Apple series. I've also had some books linked to me which are by a different author:184716319X A Straightforward Guide to What to Expect When You Go to Court; 1847161367 what to expect when you go to court; 1579106307 History of the Doctrine of the Work of Christ. Though he has the same name as me (Robert Franks) he is a completely different person. Can anyone advise how to remove them from my author's page?

re 28, i've moved over your book Legacy of the Abandoned One to you rpage. as for the other books, by the time i went looking, they had already been removed.

i'm going to cross-post to another thread and ask that your GR profile be edited to Robert J. Franks instead of Robert Franks. It looks like the majority of your books have been published with your middle initial anyway, and GR policy is to match author profile to names on covers as much as possible. This will have the added benefit of reducing the number of books written by other Robert Franks getting added to your profile by mistake.

oh and as a PS, please don't edit books that appear on your profile if they don't actually belong to you. i noticed at least one book (which has since been removed from your profile) had a blurb that mentioned you were not the author. now that it's been moved to the correct profile, that blurb is hardly useful! just ask a librarian in the future.

I have a question regarding author names. I'm pretty sure I should change it, but I just wanted to be 100% before I do anything.

Author Lisa M. Klein is listed as such on GoodReads, but on every single book cover of hers (including one I have right next to me), she is simply Lisa Klein. I feel like since her initial is mentioned nowhere on any of the book covers or book data, it should be changed to just Lisa Klein, but I wanted to double check. If someone who knows for sure could let me know, that would be great!

I've seen rivka adding an initial to use as disambiguation between authors. I think you should remove it if most covers don't show the initial, but some show a different middle name (not starting with M). I think there might be more then one authors in this profile: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...

It looks like some of the books belong to a different author and should be moved. I think the only ones that belong there are these: http://www.authorlisaklein.com/my-boo...

But as a general rule, an initial is preferable to extra spaces for disambiguation.

Judith Laxer - when I entered her book I followed the instructions and used her first name first, but she would strongly prefer if the Rev. could be added to her name. Is this possible? Thanks!

All 5 authors are goodreads authors but Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Elizabeth are not reverting to their account. It also shows MaryElizabeth23 as an author which isn't correct. :)
