I always like to check and make sure before I read a book I know nothing about. Is there anything inappropriate in this book?

There is some kissing, I don't remember any cussing in this book but don't quote me, and a murder mystery nothing really graphic.

It is a young adult book, and it is my understanding that there cannot be graphic details of sexual relations, and very little curse words if any at all. I may be wrong though.

What do you mean by "clean"? Inappropriate to whom? In whose judgment? It is a teen book.

Sorry, I should've clarified. I guess you could say I'm stricter than most about what I read. And it being a teen book doesn't really mean much.
My standards are no excessive swearing, preferably none at all, and no intimacy beyond kissing.

Have you ever checked out the common sense media site? They tend to be very detailed in regards to language, sex, etc.

I know exactly how you feel. I don't like reading about things I deem 'inappropriate' but it seems that almost all YA books nowadays have 'inappropriate things in it. I love to read and when I started reading YA, I was torn between either reading something I didn't want to read or stop reading entirely. Luckily, I was able to find another solution. Since most of the books I read are ebooks, I find it easy to skip pages of romance and continue reading the plot. I've also found it easy to skip pages in hard copy books as well. I hope you get a chance to read The Archive and that this helps.
