Harrison Ford sure has changed!

Just finished this one. I like the film but it's more cold and clinical in it's execution. The book focuses more on feelings and Rick Deckard's internal confusion about his feelings and on how others feel. On this occasion I enjoyed the book more than the film.

Pink wrote: "I started this yesterday, not very far in yet. It really reminds me slightly of the film Surrogates with Bruce Willis, or I am Legend, though I'm expecting that to change as i get further in."
I can see why it might make you think of the film Surrogates. There is a distance between husband and wife in the film and in this book Also both Surrogates and Do Androids Dream make use of technology to emotionally enhance their lives.

Worth getting The Director's Cut if you can find it, Pink, it doesn't have the over-explanatory voiceover the studio insisted on.
