Jennifer | 12 comments Hello, everyone.

I am a copyediting student at UCSD extension. I will finish my certification in June. As a way to network myself, I am putting myself out there as a beta reader.

I read incredibly fast (+1000 pages per day). I prefer adult romantic fiction.

If anyone is interested in having me read for them, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jennifer M.

As of 4/14/2014

Dear Writers,

I am incredibly behind at this time. I will not be able to take on anymore books for a while. My computer was broken, which I have replaced, and my daughter has had some unexpected health concerns. I will be finishing what I currently have, and I shall update when my schedule clears. Thank you.

I currently have a short drama revolving around a dinner party I would like read within a few days if you would be interested in reading that?

Many thanks

Jennifer | 12 comments R.L.,

If you need it done within a few days I won't be able to do it. I will need a couple weeks. I have several to read ahead of yours. If you don't mind waiting, you can send it to me.

Hi Jennifer

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I am on a tight deadline with this one so will have to pass. I'll try you again in the future with something else I have a longer timeline on, and hopefully our schedules may meet at some point :)

Shreyonti Chakraborty | 89 comments I have a 43,000 word multicultural novel set in Kolkata. I have been told it's 'unusual' and a lot of beta readers are backing out for this very reason. If you are still available, can you please take a look at it?

message 15: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 12 comments Shreyonti,

I have several to read right now so it would be a couple weeks before I get to it. If you don't mind waiting, you can email it to me. If I find the story is not for me, I'll let you know.

Steven Freeman | 57 comments Hi Jennifer,

I am approximately one month away from completing a romantic thriller/mystery ("Havoc"). I have completed 59K of the ~65K-70K words of the finished novel.

Would you be interested in reading the first few chapters or the entire work? I would be happy to send you the manuscript (now if partial, in ~ one month of waiting for complete story). Please let me know if you'd rather have PDF instead of Word and to what email address I should send the file.

This work is the fourth in a series. I have written it as a standalone work, and I'm particularly interested in seeing if it works well for those who have not read the previous novels.

To see if my writing style is your cup of tea, below are the two volumes that have been published already (#3 will come out in a month or two):
Nefarious
Ruthless

Thanks,

Steven F. Freeman

message 20: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 12 comments Sure. Send it to me in word, please. I have a couple to finish before yours, but I should have those finished by the end of the week. If it is only 59k it won't take me long at all, once I start.

Jennifer

Would you be interested in reading the first few chapters of women's fiction?

message 22: by R.L. (new)

R.L. Tighe (rltighe) | 73 comments Hi Jennifer
Thought I would try you again with my next piece. It is a cautionary tale with magical realism (I think?), short story (under 3000 words) in need of Voluntary Beta readers. Would you be interested?
