2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

My initials are RG, and so I read a book written by Rivka Galchen. However, I don't think I will be reading another one by her! This book is so confusing, I really don't understand what's gone on!!

It started off seeming to be quite interesting with a guy going home to find that his wife is missing, and a woman is in her place. This new woman looks like his wife and acts like his wife, kind of, but he knows she's not his wife.

Then everything goes weird and I couldn't keep up. So if anyone has read it, can you please explain it to me?!
