Thanks! I'll definitely give that a try - I've actually been thinking about picking up a smaller one for the past few days.
I seem to be in a reading slump too and I can't figure out? Of course I am busy with school at the moment, studying, going to classes, projects to work on.
I know exactly what you mean. My 3rd quarter ends next week and all of my teachers are trying to cram in a last minute test or project. I feel like I've had so little time to read recently, and when I do find a few spare moments, I can't seem to concentrate on the book. There's always some sort of distraction, whether it's my phone, a tv show, etc.

Thanks, Blair, that's really good advice! Just out of curiosity, what book were you reading that sent you into your reading hangover (the term should definitely catch on)?

I hope it does! I've mentioned this book in other group discussions, it's that good! It's called Making Faces by Amy Harmon. I've been recommending this book to everyone for the past week. I swear it's one of my favorites of the year so far.
That is good advice Blair. I have decided to challenge myself to read and finish four books a month for the rest of the year I think that should help me get out of my reading slump or hangover as we are now calling it:)
Making Faces looks amazing! I'm definitely going to give it a try, and maybe give myself a reading hangover as well. Maybe it'll help bring me out of my slump.

Oh my gosh. That would make my day! When you do get to read it, I hope you love it as much as I do. Tissues are highly recommended and needed!
Any time I am stress or upset about something I turn to my books. To me they are the best kind of medicine
