Hi everyone,

Whose managed to read this one so far?

Here are a few of my thoughts on the book. Firstly I really enjoyed this one. I really enjoy books that switch between two eras. The booked flowed perfectly and kept me wanting more the whole way through.
I found all the stuff about perfume fascinating and very evocative. I really wanted to give those bottles a sniff.
I though Grace was a great character and was really happy with how things ended up for her.
I found Eva really interesting, although she seemed to change a lot, like reading about several different people at the same time. Although I think this was quite feasible as so many changes happened in her life.
All in all a very accomplished well written book. I'm really looking forward to reading some of her other books and definitely hope to discuss them here.
Any other thoughts on this one? xxx
