I still play BFME2 with my mates using Hamachi network, it's still one of our favourite games (plus Age of Empires 2 HD). I hope they can release another BFME-type game, perhaps Hobbit related to co-incide with the release of the final film.
When Sauron/the Necromancer returns to Mordor (after 'fleeing' from Dol Guldur), he assaults the human outpost that is there. A Ranger named Talion is one of the ones killed (along with his entire family, apparently). But Talion is saved by an unknown spirit and comes back as a half-wraith/half-human. (This gives him some powers that look like they'll be awesome fun to play with.) Apparently, Talion and the spirit 'share a body and similar goals', so work together - but that was only conjecture in a preview.
What I wonder is how this will fit in with Tolkien's mythology? The game-makers have said that they're doing everything they can to make this as faithful to Tolkien's works as possible... but would Tolkien have ever written in a 'living wraith'? Or had a human come back from the dead?
What does everyone think?
