Not yet, Adele. I will post it on Sunday.

I am so looking forward to sharing some time with you all again as we walk Madiba's road together.
We have a lot of reading to get through:
WEEK ONE: Parts 1,2. This is 106 pages.
WEEK TWO: Parts 3,4. This is 122 pages.
WEEK THREE: Part 5. This is 82 pages.
WEEK FOUR: Part 6. This is 55 pages. (Easter w/end))
WEEK FIVE: Part 7. This is 85 pages.
WEEK SIX: Part 8. This is 81 pages.
WEEK SEVEN: Part 9. This is 77 pages.
WEEK EIGHT: Part 10. This is approx. 60 pages.
WEEK NINE: Part 11. This is approx. 60 pages

Week one is nearly 30% of my copy of the book. Is it possible to split that so that we have a slightly more equitable number of pages across the schedule? Part 10 (week 7) is only 60 pages compared to nearly 230 pages for the first week?

Good point, Carolien...and nice to meet you.
I tried not to break up Parts, and usually people get a head-start on week one. However I shall take another look at it and see what can be done. Thanks for your input.

Thanks Carolien.
John, there's also a few people starting late because of waiting for copies.

Thanks Carolien.

What exams?
What exams?

Cool. This looks manageable! Thanks, John! :-)

1)Each week I will write one or two blog posts on my website, wwwjohnmountford.com, covering major discussion points for that weeks reading. That way I can lay them out better, and attach images. I will post a link to that particular blog page. However, do not post your comments on my blog - post them as normal on the group discussion thread.
2)I will also post shorter discussion points at regular intervals during the week on the thread.
3)I will not be responding to each comment posted in response, but will participate in the discussion as normal.
4)As usual, I encourage you to raise your own discussion points as well.
This is going to be a great discussion! Post that first thread, Adele.

Law, insane enough to do a part time LLB."
Wow! I started studying law before I switched to the Arts as a young man - insane amount of reading to do. You have my respect and best wishes, Carolien.
We will be reading A Long Walk to Freedom in April & May to celebrate 20 years of democracy. John is going to lead us
We would like to make this read as big as possible.
I have thought of advertising it on my facebook page, emailing the local library and bookstores. Was also going to put it on KFM Breakfast team wall.
Does everyone agree? Any other suggestions?
Who can help? And how?
Also does anyone know how to send a big invite on group reads? Is it possible?
