Alex Juarez | 4 comments The Number of Stars is a historical-fictional book by Lois Lowry. This story treks through a flashback of Denmark in 1943 during nazi occupation when protagonist, Ellen Rosen, is confronted with her family by nazis on the prowl for any Jews residing in the Denmark area and her and her families attempt to preserve and conceal their Jewish identity from the nazis and their journey and struggle. I highly recommend this book to any fan of history or of the holocaust, it captures a lot of specs that aren't very recognized about the struggle of hiding from the nazis.

Richie | 10 comments You make this book sound very interesting and educational. It makes me want to know more about the history of the Holocaust and the perspective of the family.
