Can you believe that summer is almost over? We've had a good time reading and sharing our summer reads but now it's time to get back to basics...
Books of the Month Time! :)
As always, we have two books for you to choose from.
Sammee's choice is Ruby by Cynthia Bond. Sammee chose this book because a friend of hers curated a reading list just for her and Ruby was highly recommended. No better reason than positive word of mouth!
My choice is My Brilliant Friend. This is book 1 in a series of 4 novels. It's been a while since BB got into a book series and I thought this story of a decades long friendship between two women that takes place in Italy would be a good option.
Brilliant friend does looks its a awesome book. Reserved at my library. Hope it comes to me on a timely basis so I can get it read in September. Thanks for a great suggestion :)
I'm so glad My Brilliant Friend is a pick! I started it (was given it last year as a gift) and somehow let it fall aside. This will give me incentive to read it! Also interested in Ruby. :-)
