2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

I realised when I saw this topic that I actually had a whole lot of books to choose from (which is alarming). I ended up choosing this one as it was the one that I wanted to read the most out of my abandoned books.

It was ok - I'm interested to see the movie now. It's not a favourite, but I'm glad now that I know where a particular pop-culture reference that gets parodied quite often comes from!

I have yet to read this book, although I definitely want to, but I have seen the movie and I think the movie is fantastic. Very sad and quite serious but the acting is phenomenal and I think it was really well done.

I love the movie too, and now I want to read the book!

The movie disturbed and depressed me. The book is much better as far as how I felt at the end.

I've had this book for forever - think I'll read it next year for the challenge under the Character with Psychiatric Illness section.
