This is probably the month with the biggest spread available? You could examine the farthest reaches of our solar system and the big wide world of space, or perhaps look at the miniscule cells that make up our biology.

The world (and our number system/techolnological advances) is yours for the taking!

Check out the genre pages for Science, Maths, and Technology!

Our group read for this month's genre is: The Importal Life of Henrietta Lacks, by Rebecca Skloot!

Post here what you're planning to read for this! I'll definitely be attempting a few!

Heheh. I know it doesn't count but I'll be rereading the Teachers' Edition of both the Math and Science series I'll be using in the classroom. Yay, multiplication and division! Hooray for area and perimeter! Cheers to decimals and fractions!

I miss simple maths... Doing A-Level Maths kinda ruined the simple enjoyment of simple maths with no trigonometry, integration and differentiation...

But I'd say it definitely counts, Renee!

I should probably do some scientific research this month, so I might be swimming in this genre quite a bit! Or I might procrastinate. It's pretty much 50-50.

Aprilleigh (aprilleighlauer) I have a library at home and I could glance at just about any shelf and see several candidates for this month's category, but I opted for one that's been sitting on my desk since it arrived (I won a copy from a Goodreads giveaway). The Grapes of Math: How Life Reflects Numbers and Numbers Reflect Life by Alex Bellos. I've been excited about this book since I first read the description, but haven't had the time to read it. This month I'm making time.

I had the pleasure of reading our group read, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. If people are umm-ing and ahh-ing over reading it, I'd definitely recommend it as something relatively easy to read and enjoyable!

I'm definitely going to endeavor to find another science, history or technology book to fit in this month!
