20.5. Bigger is Better - Mary P's Task: Into the Wilderness

As a fan of the Sara Donati Wilderness series I have been looking forward to her newest book The Gilded Hour for a long time now. How thrilled I was when my copy arrived on September 1st.

This is a ONE book task. Choose from the options below.

REQUIRED: State which option you chose when you post.

**Note: Books with the genre childrens or kids may not be used for this task.**

Option 1: Read a book with a main page genre History, Historical fiction or Historical Romance. The genre may be stand alone or embedded.

Option 2: Read a book with the word Wilderness in the title, subtitle or series name. No plural or possessives, no other variations.

Option 3: Read a book by an author* that shares the same initials as Sara Donati. The initials for only the first and last name count for this task. Middle initials may be ignored. The author's initials must be in the same order - SD.

*Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreword, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks. Ask about other roles identified in a Goodreads record in the season's General Questions help thread.

Option 4: Read a book from one of your own favorite series. The book may be any # in the series. Or you may start a new favorite with #1 of a series.

Sheila (sheilaj) | 2221 comments For option C. Can the initials be in reverse as in Dana Stabenow?

Mary | 575 comments Good question. I'm going to say no to that. To my way of thinking sharing the same initials would be having them in the same order.

Thank you for asking. Didn't even think of that. Will be adding a correction to the task.

Trish (trishhartuk) | 3675 comments This was mentioned in a previous challenge, and I bought it then, but never go around to reading it. Would it work for Option 2? Fire Season: Field Notes from a Wilderness Lookout

No, Historical alone doesn't work.
