What does everyone think about Pottermore "moving beyond the gates"? What do think of this? How do you think the website will be?

I haven't been on pottermore in an age I am still on the prisoner of askaban from the last time I was on it and so I know nothing

I guess the are going to expand the site and they are going to "close down Hogwarts". From my understanding you will not be able to get sorted into a house.

But.. But.. I love to feel nearly as though I was attending Hogwarts.. *_*

I'm not 100% sure on the details but that's what I got from what I read. It's a huge disappointment. I just got an account last month and I feel cheated if I can't do anything with it now!

I could be wrong! That's just what I gathered from what I was reading on their FB page!

I don't think anything is going to change regarding sorting. To me it doesn't make sense to get rid of the houses because sorting is soooooo important to the HP world. It seems like there's going to be a new storyline or something, maybe more ways to explore the world of HP.

I should hope so yeah.. Sorting is just too important. Maybe it's going to be more of an interactive game and less of a close up on Harry's adventures? More about the HP world..? No clue, really..

I really hope it doesn't affect the sorting! I guess we will find out in due time!!

Also, if you log into Pottermore and read the announcement your owl delivered, it says they are planning to expand along w/ JKR's Wizarding World, so any new material will likely be concerned w/ things that will be revealed in the 'Fantastic Beasts' trilogy...
