Yes, this looks like is it is set in the in the right region. Have fun with Mr. Falco.

Sorry, but I have to say no to this. The book should be set at least 50% in 1 of the countries, not in a combination of two or three of them.

That's fine I have other options, and this book is long and not really my thing.

She's also got a lot of books YA/Adult paranormal if anyone is looking and likes that sort of thing. :D
Congrats on 12 years!

Yes this author definitly works.
And I also always love it when I managed to fit in a book I really want to read.

Option A - set in Ukraine
The Winter Horses by Philip Kerr
Option D - 12 letters in author's name
Honor's Splendour by Julie Garwood

That one works."
Both books work for the task.
But The Winter Horses has Childrens > Middle Grade as one of its Main page Genres in the moment, so you will have to check if it fills the requirements for childrens book.

A book set in Constantinople works fine.
This book looks interesting, I hope you will have fun with it.

My husband and I have our Wedding Anniversary at the beginning of September. As I'm still amazed that I managed to find myself such a fantastic man, he is my inspiration for this task.
This is a one book task, so choose one of the options below.
Option A: HIS BIRTH COUNTRY
My husband was born in Iran and had to flee from there when he was 18. The Persian culture is quite old and the first Persian Empire, the so called Achaemenid Empire, was the largest Empire of the ancient history with what is today Iran at its center. At its greatest extent it covered 8 million square kilometers across three continents.
For this option read a book that is set at least 50% in a country that belonged to the first Persian Empire: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Kurdistan, Egypt, Eritrea, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen
Option B: HIS NAME
My husband is called Farnoush, his two brothers are called Farnam and Farshad. His parents obviously liked to have FAR- at the beginning of their children's names.
Read a book with a word that contains "far" found intact in the title or subtitle.
Examples: Too Far, Skylark Farm, A Fortune-Teller Told Me: Earthbound Travels in the Far East.
Option C: HIS FAMILY
Most of my husband's family lives in Australia today. As we live in Germany this is really far away and he only sees them every few years.
For this option read a book where the first letters of the words that make up the title can be found in the words AUSTRALIA and/or GERMANY. Letters may be used only as often as they appear. Subtitles can be ignored. The letters may be found in the target words in any order, and a one word title may be used.
Examples:The Last Anniversary - T,L, A all found in AusTraLIA, Garlic and Sapphires: The Secret Life of a Critic in Disguise - G and A in GermAny, S in auStralia.
Option D: OUR ANNIVERSARY
We are now married for 12 years and I do not regret a single day.
To celebrate 12 years of "happily married" read a book with exactly 12 letters in the author's* name. All parts of the name as they appear on goodreads count, including middle names and initials, but no punctuations (like hyphens or points after initals). If a book has more than one author, all have to fullfil the requirements of this option.
Examples: Kate Atkinson, Heidi W. Durrow.
*Only authors that are identified as authors (or a default blank in the author role field), co-authors, or contributors may be used for tasks involving author information. Other roles or functions such as editor, illustrator, artist, translator, introduction, designed by, foreword, preface, assistant or afterword may not be used for author-sourced tasks. Ask about other roles identified in a Goodreads record in the season's General Questions help thread.
