Kathleen Mareé | 23 comments Hello!

I am fairly new to this site and absolutely love all of the discussions and posts in this group! Want an awesome bunch of people! :)

I was curious if there were many other 'Aussies' posting in this group as well? If you are from the land down under (or if not) come say Hi! Would love to know what you are reading at the moment, and what book you absolutely loved! Or maybe the best topic, who you rate as your all time book bf ;)

Anyway, hello to you all! I hope to meet some of you soon and read some of your recommendations!

x

ambsreads (amberrobertson19) Hello!

I'm from Australia, the Gold Coast Actually. At the moment I am currently reading Falling For Autumn, it's a bit of an interesting read that I'm struggling to get through - none the less its pretty interesting. A book I've absolutely loved of lately would be Boarded by Love by Toni Aleo or The Deal by Ellie Kennedy. Though who I rate as my all time book boyfriend would either be Cameron from Wait for You by J. Lynn or Garrett from The Deal.

How about you?

Kathleen Mareé | 23 comments I am from Sydney and have been reading like a crazy woman lately! I have read The Deal and Wait for You, both books I really enjoyed, and yes I would have to agree that Cam was pretty amazing ;)

I am pretty obsessed with the Fallen Crest Series, which isn't really New Adult until the later books when they go off to Uni - but I am a sucker for a silent strong male, and Mason Kade is pretty amazing. I might have to check out Boarded by Love that you suggested! I haven't read that one yet.

ambsreads (amberrobertson19) I definitely feel you with the reading like a crazy person! I try to fit reading in around my study, reading usually taking priority oops.

I've been debating reading the Fallen Crest Series for a while, but the progression to New Adult would definitely be something that I would be interested in reading. And the silent strong types are definitely great, so I will definitely look into reading it. Boarded by Love was my first Toni Aleo book, and I must say she's an incredibly writer. Definitely enjoy her books. The ice hockey element in them is interesting, since the sport isn't really common here.

Kathleen Mareé | 23 comments Hey Amber, Just wanted to thank you for your recommendation to read Boarded by Love. I really enjoyed it! Jude, oops, I mean 'Hey Jude' was very very sweet ;)

Hello Cindy! I have read cocky bastard. I enjoyed the novel, although some of 'Aussie' pronunciations did get to me in stages ;) but overall it was great!

Can you recommend any other great emotive Na novels? I'm a total sucker for these book guys. (My poor partner) ;)

Cindy | 76 comments I haven't read cocky bastard yet. I think I'll start reading it this afternoon. Have you read any of linda kage's forbidden men series? I really enjoyed those. And tillie cole's books? Sweet home, etc. I also really enjoyed k c Lynn's books - really awesome books, my favourite of hers are resisting temptation and beautifully insightful. I also liked aurora rose Reynolds books - the until series, esp Until Nico. Have you read paper swan? I recently read it...great book . I also love colleen hoover, j lynn and abbi glines. Do you have any suggestions for me?

message 9: by Kathleen (new)

Kathleen Mareé | 23 comments I have read some of those.. All great picks :) I might look up some of the others I havent.

If you like mma fighter type romances, I really enjoyed the hurricane by RJ Prescott. As mentioned above I have been pretty into the fallen crest series as well. I have a blog though where I talk about recent reads I've read and enjoyed. Feel free to check it out www.kathleenmaree.weebly.com .. There are a few others on there and I will keep adding some new ones as I am a read whore lately :) :)

Thanks heaps for your suggestions and great to meet you!!

Shona (shonahusk) I'm in Perth Australia. I've been reading the Katie McGarry books, thought they could be closer to YA even though the characters are ~18.

- I totally agree with the Fallen Crest series though the last book was a bit flat for me.
- Love Love Love Beautiful Broken Rules and the Broken series by Kimberly Lauren.
- I love Abbi Glines books and recently went back to finish the sea breeze series and have only read the first part of the rosemary beach series (fallen too far) and have to get back into them.
- Kylie Scott is an Aussie author I love with her Stage Dive series.
- The Hook Up (Game On series) by Kristen Callihan.
- Ten Tiny Breaths series by K. A. Tucker.

Hi Daneka! Wow you have some great suggestions! I have read some of those, but the Broken series sounds interesting. I might have to check it out. I actually just read Kaleidoscope Hearts by Claire Contreras and really really enjoyed it. I am about to start the next book in the series, which if reviews are correct, is supposed to be better than the first....
I swear my reading list just keeps getting bigger LOL :)

message 22: by Dee (new)

Dee | 851 comments I have read Kaleidoscope Hearts but not the next one. Just looked and there is another one 1.5 Torn Hearts that I didn't know about either.

Rebecca Addison (rebeccaaddison) I'm in the Blue Mountains :) I'm relatively new to this genre - I really start reading NA books because I accidentally wrote one! I'm a children's fiction writer and in May I started writing a novel for a bit of fun and I shared it with an online book club I'm a member of. They asked for more chapters, which I gave them.. and before I knew it I was writing a NA romance. Fast forward to yesterday.. and my book Still Waters was released on Amazon, Kobo etc. Now I'm 30% into a new NA Romance set in Hawaii. I'm looking forward to adding your recommendations to my reading list :)

Tanith (tanithteee) | 5 comments Hi everyone,
I'm from Sydney and I read a different NA book about every two days. I loved The Deal (and rest of Elle Kennedy's books) and The Wall of Winnipeg and me + many other friends to lovers contemporary romances. I've also read the Jamie McGuire's Maddox series and have a love/hate relationship with dark romances. I have so many things to do but all I want to do is lie in bed and read!
