Ok so Kaltain is bad ass, but that shadow fire crap is scary! I am so glad that Manon rescued Elide and they got the heck out and then Kaltain like torched a third of the Morath.
What was that that Kaltain gave to Elide to give to Celeana? Was it a wyrdkey? And why was it inside her? But now Elide has to go find Celeana while she is on her way to Aelin, but she doesn't know they are the same person!!!
Manon went back to visit Dorian! I can kinda see them together. Kinda. Maybe I ship it? But I could still see Dorian and Aelin as end game. I mean he is ice and wind, she is fire, it kinda goes together. Even though I really really really ship Rowan and Aelin together and he has wind too. So who knows. What do you guys think?
Im kinda sad that Choal is injured, like Chaol was this big strong, husky, man and now he is paralyzed. I don't think I like what has happened to his character. I really thought Sarah was going to kill him off in this book and I'm glad she didn't, but still. He is not the same character he was in the previous books and idk if I like it. What do you guys think? And what do you think about him and Nesryn? Do you ship them?
I gave this book 4.5/5 stars. I really enjoyed it, and I'm soo looking forward to reading the next one And seeing what happens now that they are back in Terrasen!
Btw, did anybody else notice that on the cover Aelin is wearing a red cape? Isn't her cape black, and Manon is the one with the red cape? Does anybody else think that's interesting????

I really like how Manon and Kaltain both came into their own. Kaltain just blew everyone up and got revenge. It was EPIC!
The stone inside of Kaltain was a wyrdkey. Perrington or Erawan or w/e put it inside of her to amplify her powers. He's got one more left so I bet he tries to it again with someone else.
I totally ship Rowan and Aelin and Dorian and Manon. That scene where Manon comes back for him— defiantly an indication of things to come. But I see where Aelin and Dorian work well together but I don't think it would work romantically.
I liked Chaol a lot better once he got over all the brooding and heartache left over from Heir of Fire. I like how he's not so blindingly loyal anymore, but still incredibly loyal and still a little stubborn lol. I think he's also grown out of his dumbness a little bit. Hopefully at least. The scene where Nesryn comes in and sees him was so adorable. I don't really ship it though. I'm sorry. I defiantly thought Nesryn was going to get with Aedion. I'm interested to see a romantic interest for Aedion. Who will it be? Maybe Lysandra. They've hit it off from the beginning.
I absolutely loved the scene with Aelin, Dorian, and Chaol together again in her room. The three friends from the beginning coming back together again. It was so amazing. I loved it. It was so emotional.
I wasn't expecting to like Lysandra as much as I did. She ended up being so awesome and such a good friend. I like her better than Nehmeia. *GASP* She seems like more of a friend to Aelin that Nehmeia did. The scene with the ring was so awesome. I loved it!
The last chapter, where Aelin finally sees Terassen again was so beautiful. And how it smelt like Rowan and he said he had been looking his whole life for this place. Amazing! SJ Maas is my hero! Love her!
I didn't notice the cape thing in the cover. It's a super cool that you noticed it. I'm still mad she burnt that dress from the back of the book. So awesome!

Thanks for telling me about Sarah's Pinterest. I'm currently obsessed with it! lol.
