Juanita (juanitav) | 744 comments Greetings fellow readers!

The stores here in Michigan have winter coats and mittens out for sale. Still, I'm not ready to read my "book that takes place at Christmas." Unfortunately, I still have six books remaining in the challenge. My recent readings have not satisfied my remaining prompts.

I can wholeheartedly recommend The Martian for those of you still looking for a book made into a movie as Matt Damon is set to open this film in November! It would also work as a book set in the future though the timing is a bit vague.

Right now I am reading Alice Hoffman's The Museum of Extraordinary Things and resenting each of its 369 pages (it's my book club pick).

Enough about me: how has your reading fared this week? And are you as obsessed with Book Riot as I am?

Nicole I finished my 500+ page book this week. The Book Thief by Mark Zusak. I have 16 more books to read for this challenge.

Katherine (kiik) | 158 comments Hey, guys! I completed two books this week, which I think brings my total to 32. I finished Clockwork Prince (trilogy, #2) and The Giver (from your childhood). Hopefully, I'll be able to catch up in the next couple weeks.

Juanita - I just started following Book Riot on Tumblr a week or so ago, and they seem pretty cool. :)

Ray Jordan (rjordan1041) Still working on "Pride and Prejudice" (classic romance). Haven't gotten much reading done over the holiday but I plan to make up for it this week.

Jackie | 734 comments I read my book with bad reviews this week: Kardashian Konfidential, and boy was it Kraptastic. I wanted to get either Paris Hilton's book or Snooki's book (they both had lower ratings than the Kardashians') but my library didn't have them. I had to remind myself not to be disappointed as this is probably an indication that the librarians have good taste.

Kaci | 67 comments Jackie- that's hilarious. I agree, this is a good sign for your librarians.

This week I've read Peter Pan (over 100 years old) and The Perfect Match (Author with your initials). Two books very outside my normal choices, but I absolutely loved Peter Pan.

Emily (emilyesears) I finished The Wright Brothers for my book published in 2015. I have 12 books remaining for the challenge. I'm still mostly reading to clear out my TBR for now though.

Megan (mghrt06) | 546 comments I read one book last week but it didn't fill any prompt for the challenge. I'm ok with that because I'm still technically right on track.

That's good to see that Peter Pan was a good book because I selected that as my 100 year book too.

Juanita (juanitav) | 744 comments I was going to do Frankenstein for my book more than 100 years old but now you've got me thinking of Peter Pan.
