Beta Reader Group discussion

I'm an author, Jeffrey Marcus Oshins, who had a very good experience with beta readers. So good that I put together a bulletin board www.betareader.us for readers and authors. I found fantastic support and proofreading at a very affordable price.

I think it's a great resource for writers.

Sounds interesting but I'd like more information before signing up. For example, is it US only? What do readers/writers/editors get for signing? Do you offer any quality control or is it just a way of putting people in contact?

Jeffrey, this is great - but how do authors or others see the list of Beta readers?
Or is this new and there aren't any listed yet?
Beta readers also need to say what genre(s) they prefer and what ones they will not read for the list to be most useful.
