Marieke | 2459 comments I'll be back with some intro material, but here is the thread to discuss Chris Abani's GraceLand, our September selection.

Beverly | 460 comments I have several novels and novellas by Chris Abani but have not read any of his poetry collections.
But what I like most about his novels/novellas is that Chris brings his poetic writing sensibilities to the difficult subject matter in his novels.

I have read GraceLand several years ago so will be lurking to see what sparks my memory.

Marieke | 2459 comments I am reading this slowly but loving it. It is really an amazing book to me. My favorite of his so far, I think.

Marieke | 2459 comments I don't remember where I read this...some article on Twitter, probably, but someone described reading recipes as fun because they have a story arc, or something like that. I was already enjoying reading the recipes in each chapter of this book, but now I'm reading them slightly differently.

Not in Nigeria but a good source for books as delivery is free worldwide.

bookdepository.com

They are based in the UK.
