Which book did you read? Parallel
Did you enjoy the book? The story was interesting, with some great ideas about parallel universes, but overall the story was just good.
What kind of love triangle was in the book? There are several, but the main is 2 boys, 1 girl (and, wonderful, she dated both of them).
What do you think about love triangles in books? I'm ok with them when the characters aren't dating. If they are, it's just really weird to see a stubborn person stalking his/her love interest.

Did you enjoy the book? Not really. I thought both Anna and her "true love" Count Vronsky were kind of ridiculous. In fact, this summary of the book pretty much tells why I had no sympathy for them.
(view spoiler)
What kind of love triangle was in the book? Anna Karenina, the wife of a Russian imperial minister, creates a scandal by an affair with Count Vronsky , a cavalry officer in 19th-century St. Petersburg.
What do you think about love triangle in books? I have no problem with them as a concept. After all, the world is crawling with people who are attached to one person but love someone else. But it's not like I seek them out as a genre.

Did you enjoy the book? Yes... I was pleasantly surprised, and it was a quick, fun read.
What kind of love triangle is in the book? Girl is friends with two boys when they are kids... As they grow up one boy becomes the 'bad boy' and the other the 'good boy.' She has a relationship with the good boy, but secretly wants the bad boy... Obviously. Good boy leaves town and drama ensues.
What do you think about love in books? Most of the time in YA I don't find it very convincing, but it's fun to read. There are exceptions: the love story in the Outlander is very mature, feels real, and never gets old. :)

Did you enjoy the book? Yes
What kind of love triangle was in the book? Girl is dating one boy, meets another boy who she thinks is her type. Can't decide.
What do you think about love triangles in books? Can be tricky. Either they over play it and its too much, or they under play it and its too YA.

Did you enjoy the book? Yes.
What kind of love triangle was in the book? There are two love triangles: the mother leaves the father for the female next door neighbor and the father still lives in the other half of the house AND the father leaves the country to be with the mother of his son's daughter (yes, his granddaughter's mother). Yikes!
What do you think about love triangles in books? It depends on the story, I guess. In this book, the family is so screwed up and the triangles help emphasize that.

Bridget Jones's Diary
Did you enjoy the book?
No.
What kind of love triangle was in the book?
A woman likes two different men and those two men hate each other.
What do you think about love triangles in books?
I generally hate them which made this a tough topic to pick for but I do think sometimes they can be good when done right.

Did you enjoy the book? It was ok - I think the series is going downhill fast though.
What kind of love triangle was in the book? A fae woman and two male vampires.
What do you think about love triangles in books? I usually hate them in anything. But who can resist when Eric is one of the members?

Ethan Frome
Did you enjoy the book?
Yes, but it was pretty depressing.
What kind of love triangle was in the book?
A husband and wife, and the wife's cousin who lived with them.
What do you think about love triangles in books?
It depends on the book.

Did you enjoy the book? Yes, I loved it. I want to read it again.
What kind of love triangle was in the book? A very strange kind. The past, present, and future seemed to get mingled. Hard to describe. Basically, everyone in the love triangle were not alive at the same time.
What do you think about love triangles in books? I don't really have an opinion on love triangles. If the book is good, I'll read it.

Red Queen
Did you enjoy the book?
Yeah, it was pretty good. I definitly want to read the next one.
What kind of love triangle was in the book?
There was one guy who liked the main girl at the start (or at least it was hinted it), but the main focus of the love triangle was the 2 princes liking the main girl.
Without spoiling the ending, the resolution to the love triangle at the end of the book was preferable to anything else.
What do you think about love triangles in books?
In general they need to be well written for me to find them palpable. Otherwise, they are really hard to read. Unfortunately bad writing and love triangles in YA happens a lot.

The Fury by L.J. Smith
Did you enjoy the book? It was OK
What kind of love triangle was in the book? Two vampire brothers fighting for the same girl.
What do you think about love triangles in books? If they are well written I enjoyed them a lot, if not they can be very annoying.
