Hi Angela, I would love to run a book reading, although I haven't a clue how to do that. Would that mean that I could run my own book, Dark Fey? Could you provide me a few additional details?
Thanks ever so much :)

Hello, Cynthia! I'm posting this here for everyone to see. Yes! As an author, I encourage you to run your own reading. Here is how it is done:
Set a date, a month to two weeks in advance. I can host an "interview the author" for you a week in advance to the date reading to boost hype and throw the event around soc med. I then schedule and post the event through The Book Shelf where it goes out to the 400+ members.
On your end, and this is the important part, you will need to write a notice to your newsletter subscribers or include it in your newsletter in the prior month with the link. Your readers and fans are the most likely to join the read.
Throw the event on soc media. I can pull some bloggers in to see about them spreading the news through to their readers and then you organize a questionnaire after the read. I recommend Facebook or Google+. I am tempted to say Facebook, which should draw in more people than G+.
