Do we want to attempt another group read in August? If so, start posting your nominations and I'll create the poll.

jennifer (mascarawand) | 8 comments I nominate "Leave it to Psmith".

Brian Steed (seamusp) | 21 comments I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out this month. August is going to be pretty hectic, and I'll be lucky to finish even a Wodehouse by the end of the month.

I do know that the next one I read is going to be Luck of the Bodkins. That one got high marks from my brother, and he's urging me to check it out.

The two Monty Bodkin books are both really good but Luck is the better of the two.

Brian Steed (seamusp) | 21 comments Yeah, got "Girls, Pearls, etc." waiting on my shelf, too. My only exposure to Bodkin was from his appearance in Heavy Weather...it was like Wodehouse took the Bertie Wooster template and lowered the IQ by about twenty points!

Agreed on Monty being a less intelligent Wooster. Luck of the Bodkins could easily have been a story about Bertie on a cruise ship instead of Monty.

James | 7 comments I can re-read Luck of the Bodkins, but please lets find something for September now also so I will have time to run a copy down!!

My unread Wodehouse stash is getting low so I don't have a lot of suggestions for September. I already own Summer Moonshine, Bill The Conqueror, and Not Geore Washington, so I'd be kindly disposed to reading one of those in September.

Leave it to Psmith is fine with me for an August read but I'll be a little late in starting it. I have to finish the book I'm reading first and also retrieve Psmith from my gf's house.

Brian Steed (seamusp) | 21 comments Summer Moonshine sounds like a good pick for September. That one's on my shelf and unread as well.

Steven Harbin (stevenharbin) | 1 comments I'm coming late to the discussion, but were the reads Leave It to Psmith for August and Summer Moonshine for September? And is there an October read for the group?

Yeah, I dropped the ball on the group reads. How about Summer Moonshine for October?

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 9 comments I'm new to the thread (hi) Have you read Code of the Woosters lately?

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 9 comments So, uhhh....there won't be an Oct. book I guess....

Doesn't look like it. I'll start a thread for November group read nominations and see if anyone's interested.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 9 comments My to read pile is....well if it gets much larger I may have to add a room. But, I think i'm going to re-read The Code of the Woosters. I love it...of course I pretty much all the Jeeves/Wooster stories, doesn't everyone though?

I'll keep an eye out for Nov.
