What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book along time ago from a school library. Basically it is about a teenage boy who spends every summer with his mom and dad at a lake house. There are other lake houses there with other people vacationing there as well. The book is broken up into sections describing every summer the boy spends there as he gets older. Their neighbors are a big family with a few sons who are apparently really good looking with the oldest son having a hot girlfriend who the boy cant help but stare at. Every summer he goes through different troubles that every teenager normally deals with but one thing never changes, Hes always on the quest to find the perfect skipping stone at the lake which is supposed to have a hole in the center. I loved this book because it described all the drama and complications a teen faces when growing up like, puberty, girlfriends, being bored in a place you dont want to be every summer away from friends. Ive been on the hunt for this book for the past 4 or 5 years

About what year did you read this? It's probably too new, but maybe Invincible Summer.

Don't know if OP is still around, but definitely Surface Tension.

No response but Isaac shelved the book in 2018.
