Hate List
question
How did this book make you feel?

I usually don't cry through books, which is wierd. Even this one, I didn't cry until the end. I feel really sad while I read through the pages, but I just don't cry.
I only cried at one point during this book.-The second to last page. It was the part where Valerie talked about her last session with Dr. Heiler. She said he gave her his number, but they both knew she'd never call it. No matter what. Not even to say Merry Christmas or Happy Birthday. Not even if she was struggling, why is this the case? Is it because she realizes she has the tools to help herself now?
Anyways, something about that paragraph just broke the dam, and I sniffles as tears rolled down my face. I've always hated goodbyes. Maybe it's because I too had to say goodbye to my own therapist...
