In the class of the high school English teacher she has been haunting, Helen feels them: for the first time in 130 years, human eyes are looking at her. They belong to a boy, a boy who has not seemed remarkable until now. And Helen--terrified, but intrigued--is drawn to him. The fact that he is in a body and she is not presents this unlikely couple with their first challenge. But as the lovers struggle to find a way to be together, they begin to discover the secrets of their former lives and of the young people they come to possess.

I'm into the first teo chapters. Im re-reading this one. I read it a good 7 or 8 years ago.

(view spoiler)[ I love how youngeel like uour right there with Helen Huanting the english teacher. It is creepy to think a sprit could just Haunt you...follow you everywhere you went.

When Helen sees the boy looking at her I can understand why she feels weary but excited. I guess if your haunting it would also feel as if you were being caught soing something bad. <\spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[It would be so hard to separate what was appropriate and inappropriate when you have been haunting a person for many years. You would feel as if you were family and You'd care deeply about them. Hellen calls the man she had been haunting and instantly regrets is realizing she is in a little girls body and that is extremely inappropriate

Also when Helens want and need for companionship over bares her moral compase and she feels again ones she jumps into Hellens body. <\spoiler>

So much logical thinking went into this book. It makes me smile. (hide spoiler)]

The part always bothered me.

(view spoiler)[ When Helen and the other ghost have sex in thier hosts body's. It bugs me cause it was so selfish to take the girl virginity. It was not Helens choice to do that. <\spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

I finished the book and I love it as I did years ago. The story is very logical and diffent from other ghost story's. I highly recommend it.

(view spoiler)[ The ending is very powerful when she relives her own death. This part always makes me cry. Also I feel for the humans who's body they stole. These kids some how were unhappy before but now thier confused and I can't wait to read the second book about the kids dealing from being victims of possession. <\spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

Alright here we go. Amazon took a little longer to get the book here than I was planning, but it's here now and I'm getting ready to start it

Chapter 6

(view spoiler)[I don't know, Helen kind of annoys me. She's supposed to be twenty something, plus the hundred years she's been dead, but she doesn't act like it. She gets bothered too easily. And the insta-love thing going on between Helen and James annoys me too (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 9

(view spoiler)[That just made me like Helen less. And James a little bit too. I don't think it's right for them to have had sex when the bodies don't belong to them (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 14

This was an interesting story, but I just really didn't like Helen and James. I don't think they made good decisions and that made it hard for me to root for them to be together.
