Post about all the books you have read for the month of October here. We would love to see what books everyone decided to read during the month of October. If you didn't read the October Book of the Month that is fine.

So my book wrap up so far this month consist of:

The Polar Bear Piper (Anna & Elsa, #5) by Erica David Paper Towns by John Green A Mad Zombie Party (White Rabbit Chronicles, #4) by Gena Showalter Happily Ever After (The Selection, #0.4, 0.5, 2.5, 2.6) by Kiera Cass Invincible (Chronicles of Nick, #2) by Sherrilyn Kenyon The Dark-Hunters Infinity, Vol. 2 (Chronicles of Nick Manga #2) by Sherrilyn Kenyon Black City (Black City, #1) by Elizabeth Richards

I got in some pretty good reading this month. I cannot wait to start reading the books for next month. The book choices seem amazing.

So far I have only started one book since I am barely getting out of a 5 month reading slump. I could not get myself out!!! But I have thankfully started reading The Girl in the Steel Corset. I'm determined to finish this book in the next 3 days.

I can honestly say I know what a reading slump like that feels like. I was in one that lasted about that long earlier this year. We will not judge you by the amount of books that you read. I promise.

Thank you. This is my second longest reading slump. When I get back into my grove I'm known for reading like 12 books in one month or more. But when I'm in a slump, I struggle reading!

Totally understand. I get inot those and it's horrible. It's nice to have others to read with because it helps it really does. I got into one that started in May and lasted until September this year. Once my best friend and I started reading together and I made this group I realized that reading with other people and talking to people about books helped me a lot.

I tried to start reading with my best friend but she gives up after a while. Lol. I used to buddy read like crazy but then I accidentally scheduled too many and things go confusing and so I dropped everything. I will not be doing that this time.

I totally understand that. I am part of several groups but I usually post about their read alongs in my blog to give other people choices. Like if they have read a book we are reading they can choose from one of the other groups that is reading something different.

I would try to reading a book with several people on separate buddy reads. But if too much titles are added, it just becomes a mess.

I understand that. I got out of a bunch of groups because I started getting confused. I am part of like three and then this one. But sometimes the books tend to repeat occasionally. Like Paper Towns has happened several times this year and we are repeating it. I saw A Court of Thorn and Roses repeated several times this year. So it's always nice to have options.

I so far am only in this group. I rather be in groups that have just started out.

Ryan M (raneymarie) | 89 comments I finally finished a book series I started in my late teens and got interrupted in 2005, so for October I have read Robert Jordan's Memory of Light, the last book of the Wheel of Time series. I picked the series back up recently in late August, so since then I finished the last three of the books (The Gathering Storm, Towers of Midnight, & Memory of Light), it was great how I was able to dive back into the story after years!

I understand about reading slumps I have had a few of them in my time, in fact I just got out of one this last August, I had not read anything besides my Bible for about 5 months! That is not counting interesting articles and news bits from online, lol. I much prefer to have a real paper book in my hands that is more than a few paragraphs or pages.

Kaleigh | 4 comments October has been an awesome month so far! I finished "Side Jobs" by Jim Butcher early in the month and moved on to "Cold Days" which I finished Thursday night and started "Cold Days" yesterday. I am LOVING the Dresden Files. I was able to re-read "Paper Towns" by John Green and quickly jumped into "Afterworlds" by Scott Westerfield. Another book I'm thoroughly enjoying. Like I said, it's been a good month! I am hoping to finish "Cold Days" by the end of the month.

I waited forever to read it. I really liked it. I haven't reviewed it yet. I'm behind but it was good. I have the next book waiting to be read.

I have the first and second book. I think because there are three books out I want to have my hands on all of them before I read them because I am worried if I love them I will get upset because I don't have the next book in hand. I tend to throw books when I get devastated with one because it ends with a really great cliff hanger but the next book doesn't come out until late the next year.

I totally get that. Im OK with not having them all at once unless I'm absolutely obsessed. Omg like with Cress I'm dying for Winter. I NEED that book. Other series I can wait on for the time being.

I loved Cinder and since Winter comes out next Month and I know I am getting it for Christmas I am finally going to read Scarlet and Cress. I at least want those two still pretty fresh in my mind. I remember what Cinder is about so that is why I won't be re reading it.
