Ooh thank you for the rough draft! I will be using this especially if I go blank and can't think of a book with these letters!!!

Sometimes it seems like you've just got to find a book and if anyone gets stumped I hope they ask for recommendations for a letter. I know for one mine will not look like this by the time the year ends next year but I just figured I would throw up some books and edit it as I go.

It's a great idea. I have been wanting to try this challenge for a long time but I get stuck and I usually need a reference for this kind of thing.
I got stuck at one point this year because I didn't think I had any J books come to find out I have a few.
I'm so excited for this! Do they have to be read in alphabetical order or do I just have to hit each letter?
You do not have to read them in ABC order. just hit the letters in any order you wish. I know that the way I have this rough draft is mostly series and I have to read the series in order lol.
Awesome. I think the example I posted I will just keep adding books to so everyone can have ideas for letters. I keep changing my mind on my A-Z.

If you have a title that has any of those letters in it you can use one of those. Or if you have an author who has any of those letters you can do that to. I do understand that there are times where you cannot find a book with the letter at the very beginning of the title.

I am totally the same way. I always deviate because a new book comes out that I really want to read or something like that happens.

I really need to read The Book Thief. I have heard such great things about it. I just don't want to read it alone.

I've got it down for two different challenges in 2016, I will definitely read it with you ;)

I will take you up on that offer. I had meant to read it this year and it just didn't happen. I don't remember why it didn't right now it just didn't.

I have been trying to finally get a final on my books for next year for a few weeks. I am so indecisive I hope you have better luck getting your listing together.

and These are just some of the ones I want to read next year
I have one book per letter right now but I know I'll end up doubling up on some letters as the year goes on.
TessaMarie wrote: "Man I gotta get to work on my tbr."
I kind of have my TBR finished. I just need to figure out how to fit more books into next year since my TBR pile just keeps growing and growing and growing.

I haven't made a list for this yet. I figured I just would read and place them on My Shelf as I go. Is that a bad idea? Should I make a list?
I do not think it is a bad idea. Then you are not trying to make sure you are reading books you set for sure. I often find myself struggling with that because I have book add and I get side tracked.

I try not to buy anymore books but things tend to happen and well I go overboard. Like my husband has to work on Valentine's Day. He workplace does an event that day/night and that means I don't get time with him and so he gives me a hundred dollars to spend on books so I go on bookoutlet.com and go hog wild.

Holy Cannoli. That sucks that you never get to spend time together on Valentine's. So many books! My answer is just Wow! I buy books throughout the whole year and then make the big purchase at the end of the year on bookoutlet for black Friday. I just end up having so many books. I really want to catch up on everything that I have.

Including shipping this past year to equal just under $100 I got twenty books. I got the rest of the books in a few series. I got some books I have been wanting forever and some new books that I had not eally thought about getting. I hate that he never gets to do something special for me on Valentine's Day but I am glad that he lets me just spend that much on books to make it up to me. He is just so good to me.

1. You may ignore the first word of titles that have "A", "An", and "The".
2. For the letter "X" it may be any book that has "X" in the title.
3. This books need to be read in 2016.
4. Please have a shelf for this challenge.
Pretty easy. If anyone needs an example I am going to be planning out my 2016 challenge shortly.
