Pushing Ice by Alastair Reynolds seems interesting and I'd never heard of it before right now, when I was searching for books to suggest! Plus, it has pretty good ratings and a really high average rating! ^~^

The Halo books by Eric Nylund are my favorite sci-fi books, and they aren't very well known, unless you are part of the Halo fandom.

Its a good book. My friends had gifted it to me a few years back and its not popular.
