2015 Halloween Challenge discussion

So I'm (a little more than) half way through Dracula and I LOVE it. The atmosphere is perfect. The suspense is keeping me turning the pages even though I already know what's going to happen.
I was hesitant to pick up Dracula because of the style (I usually hate pov jumps and a story told entirely through journals, letters, etc. sounded horrible) but I find it's really working. I can see all the characters vividly, feel like I know their personalities, and I care about what going to happen to them.
I have a feeling it's about to get darker (I just started Chapter 16) but we'll see!

Has anyone else started/finished Dracula? What did you think?

I'm just halfway now and I agree with your thoughts on the style. The journal entries seem to work for the story! I find Van Helsing rather frustrating. I feel like he should have revealed some vital information much earlier.

Couldn't find Frankenstein at the library, so I'm reading Dracula instead. I'm on chapter 5 and I'm a little frightened.
