Hate the characters, her dilemma is so stupid and really it shouldn't be a dilemma. Just pick Maxon for goodness sakes and don't drag it into 3 whole books *rolls eyes* Although I don't think America actually deserves Maxon.... He's too good for her

I find the book funny but frustrating. Like America keeps dragging on about more time, more time? But she doesn't really like Adam anymore, he's just a stable guy that's easy to settle with. Maxon has done so much for her and she treats him like crap.

I actually just finished the first book and I actually really liked it. I'll have to wait to see about the other books though. The one pet peeve I have but is an interesting idea on the writers part in the first place is the whole Maxon and the other girls thing. She put it obviously that he really like America yet he still goes and kisses the other girls. Keep in mind though that I have only read the first book at this point.

True. Somethings here were absolutely hilarious and the love triangle was so unnecessary

Loved the first 3 didn't enjoy the last 2. My friend spoiled for me so maybe if I didn't know the ending of Edalyns selection I would have enjoyed it more. And i know I probably spelled her name wrong

Maxon and America are one of my favorite couples!!!

I LOVE this series even though America can be annoying at times. (more like at all times) Maxon is the BEST and I don't even know how she was ever contemplating Aspen. Like, it's not a choice! Just pick Maxon already. The Elite is the worst one in my opinion because just when you think they're gonna get married, BOOM twist not anymore because America's upset about the Marlee situation. But she never took the time to think that it could be her in Marlee's spot since she cheated on Maxon as well. And she almost left the selection in The Elite (obviously she didn't though) which was very stupid. And don't even get me started on The Heir and The Crown. Eadlyn is the worst person ever and the last two books are a disgrace to the whole series. But despite all of this, The Selection is still in my top 4 favorite books. Why? Because of Maxerica of course! They are such a cute couple!
