November's read-along theme is Meaningful Books! This was inspired by American Thanksgiving being next month, however it's okay if you're not from the US (I myself am not American and I actually have Thanksgiving holiday this Monday).

For this theme, you can nominate books that mean a lot to you, books that have had a great impact on your life, books you're thankful you've read, and so on. That being said, it's open to all genres (fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary, etc.). As usual, please leave your suggestions below and a poll will be up whenever there are enough nominations.

Not sure if this will be a popular idea, but I would like to nominate The Hunger Games. This trilogy has had a huge impact on my life because it is the series that got me into young adult literature and really pushed me to read more. Plus, next month Mockingjay Part 2 comes out and it'll be the last film in the series. I would love to have a read-along for the trilogy or just Mockingjay before the farewell.

Nicole Alycia | 2 comments I don't have a specific book but something by Jodi Picoult would be my nomination. She writes such meaningful books, in my opinion. They always teach you something and have topics that make you think. I know she's not the most popular of authors but she would be my pick.

zach (zachb) | 22 comments I would like to nominate, Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4) by J.K. Rowling ... or just any harry potter books. Out of all the book, The Goblet of Fire was the 1st I read and it got me into the fantastic world of Hogwarts. So a reread would be awesome.

Owh and another book that is really meaningful to me. I dont think this will get any vote or anything just for the sake of putting it out there because I love the book sooo much. Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder.

After I finished it, I called my sister (who at the time was like 9!!!) and told her that if she were nominated to be in the hunger games, I'd volunteer as tribute! I was bawling my eyes out hahahha she had no idea what was happening. I love my sister so much and this book has so much meaning to me.
