I'm pretty sure I'll be removing a few after the new year starts unless I come up with some ridiculous way to use them all. Unfortunately, I didn't add enough to have an intro post or two, as well as, one for every month. I should have added 2 or 3 more. :)

If I made a post for every country..."
lol

I know I won't be adding the monthly tallies, like this: (view spoiler) , nor will I be doing any book cover - specific posts, like I started this year.
They're too time consuming, even when I set them up early.
I am, however, keeping an overall tally for each book club, by year, which I've added to the second post. Plus, I will also continue to use the same set up for my regular updates, like this (view spoiler) , sans the series challenge or ITAO info, since I won't be doing those this year. The series name and book number will stay, though.
I'm going to try to start with books I already own, which are mostly from the 2014 selections, but as we know, the nature of reading can be a fickle thing.
My biggest challenge, other than reading of course, will be to make sure that I add the upcoming monthly selections to my lists, and to my "Book Challenge" wishlist on Amazon, so that I don't lose track of them. The wishlist is also a good way to keep an eye out for price drops as well.
With that I wish you all a very happy 2016 with lots of wonderful reads in your future!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I may change this up a bit. So that I don't spend most of the year only reading past selections, I think I want to try to read at least one current selection at the beginning of each month or two and then work on past selections for the rest of the month.

I'm trying to go on an Amazon diet PLUS I just need to stop buying so many books and not reading them.
But I am the queen of re-reads. I think I may get to a lot of Andre Norton in 2016 cause I'm starting to feel the desire to read The Turning Cycle (Witch World).

I'm trying my damndest not to do any rereads until GR has their rereading system in place (or until 2017, whichever comes first).
I just used some of my Christmas money to catch up on a couple of series that I want to continue, but I will need to reread the earlier books first.
If GR doesn't come through before then, I guess I'll continue to pad my annual challenge accordingly, but I definitely want to reinstate the series challenge in 2017.

:) Thank You!
Up next is The Dragon's Path/Leviathan Wakes (except my edition has the names listed the other way around).

Aww! You are too kind!
It wasn't that bad....most of the time.
In all seriousness though, there were some really interesting parts. I'm just wondering if he was on drugs when he wrote it. lol

-Cinder
-Truthwitch
-The Beginning
all in the month of February.

I wish you luck.
Maybe try audio?

I don't think audio is the medium for me. I tend to tune out constant talking.
If it's a radio show, that's one thing, but even when I started listening to the Potter series I found myself missing sections because I had tuned it out without realizing it.
I can even be listening to music and suddenly realize that I actually missed the song that was just playing.

I do that a lot, too. I normally can't do audio but I've managed to do it pretty well in the car. When alone.

Well. seeing as I'm still reading Leviathan Wakes, the rest of this isn't happening.
I'm moving Truthwitch ahead of Cinder, and will hopefully get to it in the next week, at the very least.

I love that I've been able to return to school, but I so miss my leisure reading time, and I know I will miss it again come August.
While this is technically my 6th read of the year (yes I did read my Biology textbook from cover to cover), it is only my 2nd "for me" read (besides Spy vs Spy Missions of Madness which has no words). The others were either for school or for work.

Thanks! :)

Oh! Thanks. Two of the books are textbooks (Biology & Math). I included them on my shelf, I just didn't post about them here. The other is a book assigned to a class that I will be covering when the kids start their new school year in August. The regular teacher made sure I had a copy as well. Unfortunately, I had an issue or two with the selection (so I made sure that my review did not post on FB).
