Light makes dark
And
Dark makes light
Ever the
Probverbial
Titan's strife
Life's true circle
Ever broken
Death's true word
Never spoken
Find the god of prophets bright,
Follow the dreams of eerie sight,
Learn to live without the light,
Lose your soul every night.
By huntress' hand, or Love's, prevail,
Or never find the prophet's vale,
Where dream meets life and o'er the day
Nightmare screams give way to dreams
And all that's needed may be fulfilled,
Only if performed by warriors skilled

Elise had just been nominated to go on a quest with some strangers. Fun, she thought, definitely something to keep her mind occupied.

Jordan got up the hill and saw Elise "So your the person who is going on the quest with me?" He asked looking at her
((Hmm?))
She shrugged, smiling and offering her hand. "Well, it certainly looks that way. I got sent the prophecy ahead of time. It's certainly a doozy!"
She shrugged, smiling and offering her hand. "Well, it certainly looks that way. I got sent the prophecy ahead of time. It's certainly a doozy!"

Jordan smiled "Yeah, so you know what the quest actually is?" He asked "By the way how is it being Prometheus's child?" He asked
"No clue, I was hoping you'd elaborate what you could. It's... normal, for me, I suppose, but probably completely different from a demigod or a human, you know?"

She nodded, as if she was mentally taking notes. "There's... a portal to the underworld in your old house?" she raised her eyebrows skeptically.

She smiled nervously, like she got why he was laughing, even though she didn't. "All right, notes on what?" she wondered, shouldering her backpack.

"Okay," she agreed, "Is someone else going to come with us? It's like, a three person rule, right? Will he meet us?"
Elise nodded, braiding her hair quickly to keep it out of her face. "Got it, so, are you leading the way, um... what's your name?"

"Hmmm... well, I'm thinking nobody dies, that's good, but it's also going to be really... painful. I think."
"I'm guessing the Titan part is my dad, or another light titan or something... I dunno," she blushed. "What's deaths' word?"
