FALL BOOKS

1. Hell House by Richard Matheson
2. The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent
3. Suicide Forest by Jeremy Bates

Suggestions: (these are some books I've heard that are scary/spooky or have a spooky theme to them but I haven't read yet)
1. The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
2. Ghostopolis by Doug TenNapel (graphic novel)
3. Baba Yaga's Assistant by Marika McCoola (graphic novel)

I agree with many books listed, but especially Frankenstein. I'd love to finally read it.

We Have Always Lived in the Castle
Heart-Shaped Box
Seconding:
A Monster Calls
A Madness So Discreet
Suicide Forest
Shadow And Bone
Baba Yaga's Assistant
Frankenstein

I will also throw out: The Girl With All The Gifts, The Accident Season, and NOS4A2!
It looks like "A Monster Calls" is currently winning, so I'm pretty sure that's going to be one of our books.
As for the second one, it looks like people also have an interest in The Graveyard Book, The Raven Boys, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Frankenstein and Library of Souls.
Out of those I listed, what are people most excited about?
If there's enough interest I may pick 3. :)

Definitely try your local library!!
Anyway, as for the second pick, I'm interested in all of the ones you mentioned! Except Library of Souls because I haven't read the first two.

I agree, I'm currently 22nd on the wait list at my library. I could buy it, but wasn't really into Hollow City so I'd rather check it out.

So! Let's pick two fall books to read between now and mid December!
Any theme suggestions? I'm of course in the mood for creepy/spooky/horror books, but I am open to other ideas.
My suggestions are:
1. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
2. A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis
3. Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs
