Just curious, but do you ever find you are interested in the same books or authors that your parents are? I remember reading HP and my sons were reading it, too. To me that's a good thing. How about you?

Well, I read The Fault in our Stars and my mum read that too. Which was nice because we could cry on each other's shoulders!!

I made my mom read the Divergent trilogy after she went with my friends and I to see the movie. Now she won't read the Infernal Devices, but she should because they are the best books EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both my mom and my dad give me books to read, but whenever I give them recommendations, they tend to not like what I do.

My parents don't read books like ever and besides if they read the kind of books I read i'd be worried.

My mom reads a lot of the same books as I do. (But we don't always see eye to eye on them.) She read the first two Divergent books, TFiOS, Eleanor and Park, Fangirl, Harry Potter, An Abundance of Katherines, The Maze Runner, and many, many, many more.

Not really. First off, neither of my parents are avid readers. They read books, all right but are not that much into reading.
From what I've seen in my dad's collection of books, he read mostly classics and mom loves to read detective stories.

A few. I'm about to read Dairy Queen, and my mom is reading Divergent, and has read TFiOS and THG, and wants to read The Maze Runner. My dad and I both read THG. He is about to read The Maze Runner.
