Tracy T. (tracy_t) I wanted to start a new topic about books you have read and would like to see available as an audio book. There are a several books I have read and think WOW this would have been a great audio book, narrated by the right narrator. I will start by listing a couple of books I wish were audio available and suggested narrators.

Please help get his started. Maybe we can get Tantor, Brillance, Harper Audio, etc., to read this discussion.

I would love to see I Spy a Duke (Covert Heiresses #1) by Erica Monroe , Narrator suggestions would be Carolyn Morris, Morag Sims, Marrian Hussey or Jim McCabe (he doesn't have that many books but he did a fantastic job on The Dark One: Dark Knight) and Robert Petkoff.

Also I would love to see Honor Among Thieves (The Honorables, #1) by Elizabeth Boyce . Narrator suggestions would be Kristen Potter, Tavia Gilbert, Carolyn Morris, Marian Hussey.

Lady I am in, what does it take to get them involved with this discussion. Publishers depend on our purchasing power. I agree, maybe if we discussed a few books then we can get them to sell the rights to audio companies.

Would it help if we went to blog sites stating what books we would like in audio format, because there are sites that get publishing sponsorship or request Podcast sites bring up this topic. Here is my vote in the category of historical romance and historical romance suspense:

Historical Romance
Love in the time of scandal and All's fair in love and scandal by Caroline Linden are very good books yet I was surprised that Tantor Media did not purchase the audio rights. Ms. Lindens' books speak for themselves in her ability to write entertaining and passionate stories. It is sad her audio series, The truth about the Duke reviews were harsh, mainly due to the narrator. I have no suggestions for a narrator as long as it is not Gildart Jackson. I am curious why HarperCollins is not publishing her audio books.

Historical Romance Suspense
Honor among thieves by Elizabeth Boyce is a thriller although the ending was a little over the top. The graphic cover is well done, yet it seems the company is not marketing this book. For people who like historical suspense, adventure and steamy romance this book will not disappoint. I prefer 1. Steve West 2. Alex Wyndham because the series is about a band of brothers. Does anyone know of a media company that would be willing to purchase this book.

I will contact Tantor Media requesting that they read our audiobook romance discussion. HOWEVER, ONE VOICE IS NOT ENOUGH. IF ANYONE ELSE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THESE BOOKS IN AUDIO FORMAT, I BESEECH YOU TO CONTACT THEM AS WELL.

IN UNITY WE HAVE POWER!

JaneA | 485 comments I've always wondered why Julie Anne Long's books aren't in audio. For narrator maybe Rosalyn Landor, Marian Hussey, or Kate Reading. There are other good ones out there that I'd be happy with. Just would want someone with a proven track record.
