Looks like Low Town is winning! Should I close the poll on Friday to give everyone enough time to get a copy? What do the mods think?

I think I would let it go longer. I always thought on the off months where we do the poll, that we should have 2 weeks for the recommendations thread and 2 weeks for the poll to be up.

Not everybody comes here every day like the 10 or so of us nerds that do. It would help give them a chance to vote. It's not very hard to get a book quickly, instantly if you do ebook or a trip to the book store if you want the hard copy.

That's my $0.02 anyway.

The UK edition has a better cover and title, but I don't suppose it makes much difference.

Should be OK to start, sometime in November. Just started reading The Shining for Halloween, so presuming Low Town wins, will start that next. The start of another series Chompa!
