You better not...
*gives Jackie the eye*
Who?

O_o
When we normally host a family BBQ which somehow always turns into family staying for at least a week.
So this year hubby decided that - to avoid that - we are going to visit his family in FL that week.
:(
IDK what dates but I'm sure its that same week.

I wish I could have gone to the Sanderson signing in your area MrsJ... but it was just too far for me to drive, especially in my car that is really getting raggedy. I can just take the bus to NYC - easy.

pffffffft!
You could take the bus here, too.
*pout*
But I feel you on the car thing. My car is doing this odd ticking when I start it for the first 5-10 mins. It's... not really cool at all. O_o

Because books."
Are they special books?

Because books."
And authors and bookish celebs.
For professional author stalkers this is heaven. :)

Are they special books?"
They're free books, according to the website. So yes.
It's an author and book convention! How is that not cool? I'm excited. And I'll be excited enough for everyone! MWAHAHAHAHA!

Thanks for unbooing me, Colleen.

New York (AP) - The organizers of New York Comic Con, ReedPOP, announced Wednesday they will launch BookCon during BookExpo America, a weekend gathering in New York in late May.
The "massive pop culture" event will feature author John Grisham, actress-author Amy Poehler and other well-known guests.
BookExpo will have its own celebrity guests, including Lena Dunham and Anjelica Huston, but it's primarily a trade show held for booksellers, librarians and others in the industry. BookCon will be open to the general public.
According to ReedPOP, BookCon will take place May 31 at the Javits Center and include panel discussions, podcasts, interviews and trivia contests - programming also common at Book.Expo.
