What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

It was an unsolved kidnapping, had a twist at the end. I can't remember how it all went.

When did you read this book?
Were there two or more sisters, and about how old were they?

I haven't read the book but it's based on a real life story - so horribly sad, two sisters, ages 10 and 12, walking to a mall disappeared and were never seen again. There was recently an article in the newspaper that a Maryland convict might be a person of interest in the case. The case received a huge amount of publicity and children and their parents were all haunted by it.

I was about to post a thread looking for this same book, but now that the search engine is fixed, I searched for "Lyons sisters" and found this thread (so thank you, too, Lauren).

The convict (Lloyd Welch) pleaded guilty in 2017 to abducting and murdering the Lyon sisters.
