DC Public Library discussion

Giant Squid Books (giantsquidbooks.com) is a new small YA fiction imprint based in Washington DC! Petworth Citizen is having a release party for our first book, The Six Days (out April 1) in the Reading Room from 7:30 to 9:30 on April 9th.

There's going to be a reading from the novel--an epic YA fantasy--, an opportunity to hear about GSB's upcoming projects, including a feminist sci-fi anthology for young readers featuring stories by DC teens, and the book will be for sale.

It's a chance to have a couple of cocktails (including a punch named for the book!) and get in touch with your inner young adult. You know, wizards, magic, adventuring, sword-fights, pirates, evil magic, kissing, etc..
