Brianna (bebecburt) | 546 comments This is the first week I'll be reading for!

I am reading Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard which won for Debut Goodreads Author.
Other books I considered were The Air He Breathes, Armada, & Everything, Everything. I only own Everything, Everything of those three so if Red Queen doesn't work out, then that's the one I'll probably read instead.

message 4: by Jonquil (new)

Jonquil I have started listening to The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan. I had selected it for another group challenge and I'm happy that the 528 page book will also work for this challenge since it won the Goodreads Choice Award for Middle Grade & Children's (2015). :-)

I'm almost done with this one - I am using it another challenge for a book written by a celebrity. If you think of it as a memoir or autiobiography, it's lacking. However, if you think of it as a collection of stories about his life, it's pretty entertaining! And, as a fan of The Big Bang Theory, I see Raj in so many of Kunal's stories!

Kelly Decoteau (kjdecoteau) | 31 comments What are you reading this week?
Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling

Category: Humor

Other books I'm interested in (choosing from the winners only):

I read three last year.
The Girl on the Train & The Day the Crayons Came Home - LOVED them both and
Go Set a Watchman - Didn't like it.

I started Modern Romance but didn't finish. Disappointing because I love Aziz.

Beneath the Surface: Killer Whales, SeaWorld, and the Truth Beyond Blackfish could be interesting, could be boring.

All the Bright Places seems like all the other recent YA novels but if there's enough hype I will probably end up reading it!

Elise F (elise_literaryhabitat) | -7 comments * What are you reading this week?

I'm ahead on the reading but behind on my posting! I was intending to read All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven , but once I started it, I couldn't get into it. I read Eleanor & Park and I'll Give You The Sun last year, and this seemed similar, but not as engaging...SO, I swapped for Spinster: Making a Life of One's Own by Kate Bolick

* In which category was the book nominated? It was a nominee for Best Memoir & Autobiography

* I have a few listed in my challenge for 2016 - including Alice Hoffman's Marriage of Opposites, V.E. Schwab's A Darker Shade of Magic, Nick Cutter's The Deep, and Erik Larson's Dead Wake
