I liked the first too books but the in think the last one had to have a better ending.

No, I have the retail version, but I'm sure our versions are not that different XD.

I don't have an arc but I was hoping that someone else did so that I could count it towards the arc cleanup challenge.

I think that counts only if you have it as ARC.

(view spoiler)[I'm not sure the game itself is believable. I don't understand how something this big can stay under the police's radar, or how no one can get to the jury. They are teenagers, they live to tell secrets. I find it unbelievable that they can keep it so hidden.

We can already see enemy no. 1: Nathalie. She's going to betray both Heather and Dodge. I was kinda expecting this, but I'm also a little disapointed that she didn't give this a second thought.

About the characters, I love Heather. She's really an interesting strong character. Not the damsel in distress type I've learned to be so sick of. I also like Dodge and I do hope he won't be too crushed when he finds out Nathalie was just using him. I have a bad feeling he's just going to be blinded by his love. :(

How do you guys feel about this so far? The tension is killing me XD.

This book is starting really slow. And it's kind of boring so far. All the characters are getting hard to juggle. Lauren Oliver does not develop certain characters before introducing new ones. That is why the book is starting to get a little confusing.
What do you guys think?

Yeah I guess you are right, they are pretty realistic.
This book is getting more and more interesting. I like the light, sweet romance between (view spoiler)[ Dodge and Nat (hide spoiler)]. I am glad romance isn't the main focus if this book.
I also wonder, is this a stand alone book or is the author planning to write more sequels?

Still, lack of imagination and common sense. The fire thing I mean. I was also hoping for something better. I mean, since the game itself is very unrealistic and crudely explained at least the challenges could be a little more interesting. I need to be entertained!

(view spoiler)[Yeah, Bishop is a judge. This didn't come as a surprise to me at all. There were so many hints that it was pretty obvious in the end: him disappearing and reappearing in the game, him refusing to be with Heather even though he totally loves her, him feeling guilty over Kelly's death. Yeah, way too many hints miss author.
So far this book is not that bad, but not good either and that's not a good thing :( . (hide spoiler)]

Ok, I'm done with this, what can I say, not that good of a read. It got 3 indulgent stars because the idea was interesting and the characters were ok, but neither the story or the characters were ever developed to their full potential.

Also, about the ending: (view spoiler)[that HEA was such a bullshit. It was so cheesy and bad placed that I couldn't wait to finish this already... (hide spoiler)]

The only time when I panicked was when I realized I'm almost done with this book and nothing unpredictable happened.

@Tessa Yes, it really isn't as good as I expected it to be.
I am 60% done and I am not liking it that much.

I finished Panic. I didn't like it. But I didn't hate it. It dragged on a lot towards the beginning and middle. I will have a review up soon :)
