Tarkin discussion

Is anyone else finding this book hard to get though? I have flew threw some Star Wars books, but this, I literally am at Chapter 5 and I cant get through reading 10 pages at a time without nodding off.

I have a feeling its because its all narrative and not much dialogue. But it does not seem like that is going to get better.

I would agree that in some areas it was pretty slow. I found it rather fitting for the character though. I didn't expect Tarkin to have nearly as exciting of a life as some of the heroes in the Star Wars Universe.

The slower style seems to be common to James Luceno's star wars books. Oddly enough, I found this one to be the most exciting of his books.
