The 2016 Reading Challenge list is complete! It's crazy how fast the polls went by. I know that I'm really excited to kick off a new challenge and it's been great seeing a new list come together.

The final four themes are:
- A book by an author you discovered in 2015 and want to read more of
- A dystopia
- A book on a summer/beach reading list
- A book originally written in a language other than English

The order of the list, along with a link to the new group, will be posted on November 1. So stay tuned!

2 are from my top 5 which is good and the dystopia is unexpected (I didn't vote for it, even if I'm reading all the dystopias I see).

Time to update the list :D

Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments oh yay! Most of these were higher up on my list! I'm excited to start this challenge, looks like there's a lot of good topics/themes.

Jennifer Barstad (maidenoflight) Well go figure, one of the ones that won is one I really didn't want, but the other three were close to the top for me. Already have my books picked out for these topics as well. Really can't wait until next year!

Sarah | 186 comments 2 out of my top 4 made it this time! And a dystopia and non-English book were in my top 10, so this is good! Time to go and find some more books to add to my new list.

Same for me Jennifer! I really didn't want one of those. Maybe I'll save it for the last week, and just not get to it ;)

You could always use your wild card for that week :)

message 8: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Barstad (maidenoflight) No, i'll read it. I'd rather save my wild card for another that won.

message 9: by Charity (new)

Charity (faeryrebel78) Wow 3 of my top 4 made it! The other choice is ok it wasn't in my top but it also wasn't one of the ones I really didn't want. I'm excited for next years challenge!

Sophie (sawphie) I'm so happy that the list is complete! I find the topics well balanced and I really think I'll be able to use mostly books from my TBR.

Same! For this years challenge, there were a few topics where I had to really divert from my to-read list and ended up having to add more, and so far I've been able to fill my plan for next years challenge with books that are all on my to-read shelf.

Jody (jodybell) | 531 comments I'm really happy with the challenge as a whole - I think there are definitely some challenging challenges in there! :)

message 18: by Carol (new)

Carol Oh well, none of my top 4 made it this time, but I'm really looking forward to the challenge next year.

message 19: by Stacey (new)

Stacey D. | 73 comments With the final 4 now in, methinks I need to re-jigger some books around. So excited to start on 2016

message 20: by Joy (new)

Joy | 40 comments Ugh. Dystopia. Once I get into them, I've had some that I somewhat enjoyed, but it's a tough genre for me to love. This "challenge" continues to do its job! ;-)
